Craft Coffee FAQs

What's up with the new website?

Craft Coffee has been delivering amazing coffee experiences for over a decade and a half. We created the concept of an online coffee subscription and have seen trends come and go ever since, while remaining devoted to bringing you better coffee for less money.

The time came for a refresh. Taking advantage of Shopify's ecommerce platform, we're pleased to bring you a contemporary design with better mobile usability, more navigable content, and great features like passwordless login, simple referral and loyalty programs, and more. Let us know what you think!

If you created a subscription on our old website—prior to June 29th, 2026—please visit dashboard.craftcoffee.com/dashboard to manage your subscription.

When will I receive my first delivery?

Your first delivery will ship 5 business days after your order is placed. All future deliveries will ship based on the frequency you select. You’ll receive a shipping notification with a USPS or UPS tracking number as soon as your coffee leaves our headquarters.

Why does it take a few days for your order to ship? Because unlike Amazon or the grocery store, we fresh-roast your coffee specifically for you! We can't just pull it off a warehouse shelf. It's worth it!

Is shipping really free?

Yes, all subscriptions ship for free via USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground, depending on shipment specs and your location.

How? Being able to plan ahead for recurring coffee deliveries allows us to run much more efficiently. This saves us money, and we pass on those savings to you with low prices and free shipping.

One-time orders of 3-Roast Samplers incur a $3.95 shipping fee.

How do I get your best prices?

Purchasing 4 or more 12oz bags of coffee unlocks our best deal: 28% off each delivery. Learn more on our Buy More, Save Money page.

We also offer loyalty rewards as your subscription continues, and $10 off for each successful new customer referral via our Refer-a-Friend program.

Can I cancel my coffee plan?

Yes, you can cancel any subscription by logging in to your subscription portal. Please note that if you cancel after an order has been placed but before it has shipped, cancellation will not take effect until after that shipment.

Can I put my coffee plan on hold?

Yes—you can delay or change your delivery schedule anytime by logging into your subscription portal.

How fresh will my coffee be?

Very fresh: we typically ship your coffee within days of roasting it. We roast your coffee specifically for you and heat-seal each bag to ensure your deliveries are as fresh as possible. On average, you will receive your coffee about 5-7 days after we roasted it.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, due to rising shipping costs and long transit times we no longer offer international shipping.

Do you ship to APO or other US Military addresses?

Yes! Craft Coffee is proud to ship to our coffee-drinking members of the armed services. Select the appropriate armed forces branch in the "Country" field during checkout.

Why is my coffee shipping from Kansas?

We're a frugal company. When the opportunity arose several years ago to partner with PT's Coffee Co.—an award-winning small-batch coffee roaster based in Topeka—we went for it. Our central location allows us to keep costs low while reducing shipping time for most subscribers. But most important, it's still the same Craft Coffee you know and love.

Where do you get your coffee?

We source our coffee from key growing regions in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. All of our coffee is specialty-grade, 100% Arabica beans that we buy at Fair Trade prices or above. Our coffee experts have years of experience building relationships with coffee farmers and importers to source you the best quality beans available anywhere. Learn more about our approach to sourcing and roasting single origin coffees here.

Can you grind my beans for me?

We always recommend that you buy whole bean coffee. Your coffee will be fresher and taste much better if you grind it at home. However, if you're not ready to grind your own beans quite yet, then we are happy to grind your coffee for you. You can select a grind option when you add coffees to your cart.

Can I change my plan after I sign up?

Of course! You can change your coffee selection or quantity, delivery schedule, and other details in our subscription portal at any time. Our goal is to help you find your new regular coffee. We encourage you to make changes to get there!

What if I am getting too much/too little coffee?

We work hard to make sure you’re stocked with just the right amount of fresh-roasted coffee. We give you the control to change your delivery cycle by weekly increments, so we can be sure to get it just right. You can adjust this easily from your subscription portal.
